I would like to see a Universal Screensaver for all BJC Computers Systemwide that focuses on Motivation. A few I would like to see rotate through yearly are: 1) Less Me, More We 2) There is no "I" in TEAM 3) TEAM, Total Effort by All Members 4) TEAM, Together Everyone Achieves More 5) Be Better, Together 6) Don’t Fix the Blame, Fix the Problem 7)Avoid Gossip, When You Throw Dirt, You Lose Ground 8) Teamwork means Bringing the Best out in Others 9)Good Better Best, Never Let It Rest, Until Your Good Is Better and Your Better Is Best 10) Nothing Weighs More Than Carrying A Grudge 11) People Are Happiest When Their Hands are the Busiest 12) Do Common Things Uncommonly Well 13) Plan Your Work, Work Your Plan

James, I think your suggestion has lots of merit; a universal screensaver would allow us to share important information and a consistent message across all of BJC. Thanks for the idea!

Motivation for Healthcare only? "The Patient doesn't Care what you Know,They only want to Know that you Care." Lastly, I think alot of "Burnout" could be prevented if Teamwork were taught right at the Nursing School level, day one, square one. Thank you. I think the Blog Line is Great, I wish more people would use it.

What has bothered me from Day One about the Health Care Reform Bill is that nothing is mentioned about #1)Improving Hospitals themselves or #2) Any plan to Staff Hospitals so they can take on the 40 million uninsured Americans when they come walking through the door with their new Insurance Plan. All of you who work in Healthcare know that many people think of the Hospital as their one and only "Doctors Office" and until they are sick, they will just stay at home. Their needs to be a Televised National Debate where we can Vote and/or comment to a Website in D.C. so we can be part of the discussion ourselves. With all due respect to BJC and the very fine representation we have from Steve Lipstein, this thing is way bigger than all of us.
