Government Health Care
To me the best way to pay for most of the un-compensated Health Care provided in America is to have the Government pick up the tab for all the un-paid Emergency Room visits to our Nations Hospitals (all) If a patient needs some in-patient Service beyond that, have the Government issue a voucher for the Surgery needed. The System I’ve described would cover a huge portion of our annual losses (and all other Hospitals as well) Lastly I would like to see the Government itself develop "Super Clinics" in specific neighborhoods, counties or even States to make I.V. Infusions and Dialysis available to poor people as well as normal Clinical Services. All of our Hospitals Nationwide are overworked and over-used. It’s time to do something sensible. Jim Christeck

Is gov't ran healthcare the answer? Can our economy support continued gov't bailouts; i.e. the financial/banking industry. Of course, it's impossible to completely cure this issue (at least at this point in time), but minor steps toward improvement could lead to significant financial positives. Hospitals need to cut the fat, standardize processes, act and operate lean. Yes, certain areas are over worked but many are fat and lazy; let's focus on improving where we can versus relying on a gov't bailout.
