I have a problem when I see all the TV ads for medicine that you can not buy with out a prescription from your Dr. I have heard the drug companies spend upwards of 5 BILLION dollars a year on TV ads. Wouldn’t that money be better used in research and lowering the cost of drugs. The ads say to ask your Dr. If I didn’t trust my Dr. to know what was available and what was best for me, I’d find a new Dr. I’m not sure, but I think this is the only product advertised on TV that you can’t just go out and buy.

Neale, when a drug company advertizes, they are pushing the product on the public..just like any other product…Then, you must ask your Doctor for it…I guess..or they want to become familiar with it, when your Doctor suggests it…..
Notice the disclaimers…How about the one for incontinence?? You could experience a stroke or heart attack….??? ( not sure if the negatives I have listed go with this particular drug ) I laugh and say I think I would rather wet my pants, than take any chances on experiencing the downside of the drug. There are so many disclaimers listed. Why on earth would any sane person take them, when you can take some natural element and avoid all the self inflicted possibilities of taking their drugs???…
