Why when lung cancer is listed as the #1 killer of all cancers is there very little, if any, side effects or after effects listed? Even the Doctor’s comments are few, and support groups are almost non-existent.

Hi Kathleen,
I would encourage you to visit the Siteman Cancer Center website at http://www.siteman.wustl.edu where you will find additional information about lung cancer including podcasts, treatment options, clinical trials, news on lung cancer research, a risk assessment tool, etc. Siteman is a National Cancer Institute (NCI) Comprehensive Cancer Center and there is a great deal of information on the NCI website about lung cancer. Hope this information is helpful.
