hero

Daniel Smith is an 11 year old north county resident. Several weeks ago, he was home with his mom and new baby sister. His mom passed out and Daniel remained calm, called 911 and explained what had occurred and then called his grandparents who were traveling back to St. Louis from out-of-town. His grandparents helped Daniel remain calm and called a neighbor to come to the house in advance of the emergency responders. Daniel’s quick thinking to make two calls ensured that what could have been a crisis, was appropriately handled. His mom was taken to the hospital and is doing great. Daniel is a hero.
