Helen Risse, RN, works at Our Lady's Inn maternity homes for homeless, pregnant women & their children, in St. Louis and St. Charles, Missouri. Helen teaches the women about health, prenatal & postnatal care, smoking cessation, first aid/CPR, and many other topics. Her dedication helps Our Lady's Inn maintain a very low infant mortality rate (a study was conducted by Dr. Noguchi of Cardinal Glennon Hospital). She is definitely a hero!
