hero

When I first saw him, my blood sugars were OUT of control as my body had started rejecting the oral agents I had been on to control my diabetes. Within 3 months, my HbA1Cwas down to 7.4….from 14!!! His concern is heartfelt, his demeanor is always calm and serene. I know he wanted to put me in the hospital, but as I asked him not to, he abided by my wishes, but called me every few days to be sure I was OK. That kind of care and support I have not had since I was a child. Dr. Rofougaran is truly a God-send and should be one of your HEROES!

In January I was hospitalized for a pulmonary issue however during my 8 day stay was referred to Dr. Rofougaran for my diabetes that had been out of control for years. I cannot say enough about this doctor and what he has done for me! My A1C is now in check, I've lost weight and have a new attitude about my health. The care he provided me in the hospital was the best and continues with my follow-up office visits. He is, by far, the most caring and dedicated physician that has treated me. He is my hero and is deserving to be one of yours as well.

I originally went to Dr. Rofougaran for a thyroid problem and I am a type II diabetic. Our daughter is a nurse at a hospital where he is on staff. She knew we felt that no progress had been made in 6 months with the Dr. I was seeing concerning
my thyroid. She checked with several staff people and came back with Dr.Rofougaran's name. She told us he was very well thought of at the hospital. I am so delighted I listened to her and decided to try Dr.Rofougaran. Soon after I began going to him, I had to be hospitalized for an infection. He was wonderful with me and my care at the hospital was excellent. My thyroid is returning to normal and he has my diabetes and AIC in check. Dr. Rofougaran is an outstanding doctor who goes that extra step for his patients. He cares about what you have to say, he is very personable and above all….he has the
patient's best interest at heart!

I have been a resistant diabetic for 39 years. I have encountered several Physicians. From New York to St.Louis no physician has displayed the level of genuine care and concern that Dr. Rofougaran has for me and my family. In fact, while hospitalized @ St. Marys with my 3rd heart failure I almost gave up hope. I truely wanted to just give up. Dr.Rofougaran was key in my recovery and return to physical, emotional and spiritual health. Thank you Dr. Rofougaran.
