Mary Frances- Zofran does have a generic form, it's called ondansetron. Maybe you got someone from Medicare who didn't take the time to look it up... I don't know anything about Medicare myself, but if they said the name-brand drug itself is not covered, ask them to look again under the generic name.

I'm afraid I could never see a GP who double-books. I don't double-book my meetings at work, out of respect for the people I'm meeting with; and I don't think doctors should do it either. What happens if both you and the other person booked at your time say "I need to leave by 3pm?"

In Oct of 09, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Miraculously found by my yearly mammo. It was 2 cm -- very small - but I had it removed, followed by only 10 days of radiation and no chemo.
